We read in Matthew's Gospel concerning the virgin birth of the Christ Child, the Saviour of
mankind, which is certainly one of the greatest mysteries of all times (Matt. 1: 18-25).
We also see Him in His role as Co-Creator of this world (Gen. 1:26). When God said,
"Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness, etc. He was speaking to His Son,
Jesus, who existed before creation. For additional light on this fact, read John 1 :1-15,
Rev. 19:11-13 and John 17:1-5.
Whether you address Him as the Anointed One, the Messiah, Son of God, Son of man,
Emmanuel, the Word, the Lamb of God, the Mediator, the Lord our Righteousness, Master,
Lily of the Valley, Rose of Sharon, Bright and Morning Star, King of kings, or Lord of lords,
you are still referring to Jesus, which means Saviour, who loved us so much that He gave His
life on Calvary for you and me. (John 3:16).
