LESSON 7

Introduction:Marriage is ordained of God to be a wonderful union of two lives, two loves,
and two interests. It is truly wonderful if you have someone whom you really love, who helps
you bear your burdens, and shares your joys. Baptism is just such an experience. It is a
marriage to Jesus Christ. Jesus gave the following commission to His disciples just before
leaving them for His home in heaven: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all
things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end
of the world." (Matt. 28:19, 20).
